The U12s played an 8-a-side game against a well marshalled DWO team.
Aamir scored in the first couple of minutes from a lovely through ball from Ben. Then there was a sustained period of pressure from DWO ending in an equaliser. Then straight from the kick off they went ahead.1-2. Then after a goal mouth scramble the ball rolled out to Archie who buried it in the back of the net:2-2 and game on.
Just before the end of the half they scored and went in with a narrow lead. Good defending from Alex helped to keep them out of our box.
DWO made some substitutions and put on some fresh legs. We started to flag stopped closing them down effectively and they gained confidence. They used the extra space well and dominated the last quarter. In spite of some heroic keeping from Henry, they managed to score twice more: final score 3-6. A brave effort.
